The Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN), Kraków, Poland and the Institute for Magnetic Fusion Research (IRMF, CEA), Cadarache, France are organizing the Third International Workshop: “Summer School of Plasma Diagnostics: PhDiaFusion 2019” (http://PhDia2019.ifj.edu.pl). The PhDiaFusion Summer School takes place in Poland (Niepołomice, near Kraków), in the period of 3rd – 7th June, 2019.
The Workshop aims to discuss the advances in theoretical methods for thermonuclear fusion and more. Research is developing based on modern technologies and possibilities of electronics. Invited speakers are the world known experts involved in fusion plasma research mainly focused on the ITER related applications. These lecturers are from major European research centers involved in the development of theoretical methods for nuclear fusion. New solutions, new projects and conceptual designs realized under the auspices of WEST, JET, COMPASS Tokamaks and of the Fusion for Energy Agency (F4E) and EUROfuson projects, will be presented.
